VLC is no doubt the best video viewing software ever. It supports every possible video format you can think of and has all kinds of advanced features. It also has the ability to play subtitles along with the videos which can be downloaded separately from the web using websites like subscene.com, subtitleseeker.com etc. But most videos or movies we download already have subtitle files attached with them in ‘SRT’ format. It’s good to have these already available with the movie, but they can be a little faulty at times or out of sync. But, there is a very simple fix to it and here’s how to do it:
Head over to the menu bar on the top of the VLC application and click on tools.
In the tools option, click on track synchronisation.
Then select the options to delay or hasten up the subtitles or audio tracks using the arrow keys next to the timer.
And this how we fix VLC Subtitles and audio out of sync.
